In fact, when we started Brutal Legend, um, there was no real story. Like, we actually started working on it, um, for, uh, it was what we called stage battles. It was entirely multi-player, for about two years. And, then we did a single player campaign, which was where the story emerged. And, that's when Tim actually started to direct it a little bit more. And, he already knew what the game play was going to be about. And, he knew, kind of, a lot of themes, right? Because, that's what he started from. Um, yeah. And, so the story actually just emerged from that. It's sort of, yeah, it's almost like writing fan fiction for a thing you already like, but except that it's your own thing that you created in the first place.
