Yes, I do think that games could be an incredibly deep and meaningful art form. I do not think that the works we're creating right now are that. If you're experienced at games- both playing and criticism and analysis- you can see snippets of it in existing games. Little pieces like in ICO, when you can call the Princess and she'll come and grab your hand, and that's an actual interactive moment between two characters. And so you can see tiny little things, but we don't knit it together into any kind of coherent whole yet. I mean, that's fine, I mean, we're still young. Unfortunately we make so much money now that we double-down, and there's all these publicly traded companies, we all just double down on the things we know how to do, which is blowing up aliens and killing orcs.
