Well I'm a big gamer. So that's definitely how I started gaming when I was 6-years-old on a ZX81 and I played a game called MAZOGS and my dad had brought it home and what I remember about it which is different to what he remembers is that is was...MAZOGS was a kind of little 2D dungeon and you were a little pixilated man with a little pixilated sword fighting strange pixilated beetle creatures and my dad said, Oh you were very frightened about it at first. But then I kind of realized I had a sword and I could kill the little pixilated beetle creatures and then I was kind of sold and it wasn't so much what I was seeing on the screen but the invention that was being created in my head at the same time. And I think that kind of realization, even at a young age, just kind of drew me into games. And so I've been a long-term gamer, predominantly on PC but much more into consoles later on, in my 20s. I always loved the PC and certainly working on a games magazine like PC Zone where you really have to have a huge depth of knowledge, being a gamer from that early on certainly helped, so I love the medium.
