If you want to be a programmer, you, you need this, this massive background. If you want to be a, a good artist, it, it helps to have this - you know, a lot of training. Um, but when people think of design, you kind of - people kind of think that you're just the idea guy. You just like come up with these brilliant things. And, um, level design is kind of the most direct way into that of just - um, you don't need as much of a background as other disciplines. So, you can kind of jump in and just start making cubes and walls and floors. And all of a sudden you're making levels and you have a six-sided room. Then you add a hallway, and then you add more and more and more. And then suddenly, you know, you're suddenly making much more ambitious things all of a sudden.
