I don’t think games are supposed to be anything. Uh, I think that the - it’s an amal- an involving medium that has the possibility for anything that a designer wants to try to communicate to a player or even to themselves. I believe that games don’t need to be anything s- like one strict definition of it. Uh, there’s just this amazing amount of space and exploration left to do in games. So, I think trying to say games are supposed to be fun really kind of oversimplifies things and doesn’t let us take full advantage of a really, really cool medium that combines so much from other different artistic disciplines.
